Tender and Procurement Study Group

With the Child, Youth and Family Services procurement process likely underway, many organisations will be actively developing their responses, refining their approaches, and working through the requirements of a competitive commissioning environment.

Preparing a strong submission requires dedicated time to think, plan, write, review and work through the details that can easily be overshadowed by day-to-day priorities. This weekly study group provides a supportive space to stay focused, make progress, and maintain momentum throughout the procurement process.

From Monday 22 June until the end of August, join us for a drop-in session every Monday morning from 9:30am–10:30am to:

• Set aside protected time to work on procurement responses and tender development.
• Progress proposal writing, evidence gathering and planning activities.
• Work through challenges and seek guidance when you need it.
• Stay focused and accountable during a busy procurement period.
• Share ideas, resources and approaches with sector peers.
• Connect and collaborate with others navigating the commissioning process.

These sessions are intentionally informal and practical. Whether you are drafting a response, refining service models, strengthening outcomes frameworks, or reviewing your submission before lodgement, you’re welcome to join.

Participants will not be required to discuss or disclose commercially sensitive, confidential or procurement-specific information. The sessions are designed to support learning, problem-solving and focused work while respecting organisational confidentiality.

There is no expectation to attend every week—simply join when it suits your schedule and take advantage of dedicated work time, peer support and a shared focus on procurement readiness and response development.
