With Child, Youth and Family Services procurement activity commencing soon, now is the time to begin preparing. Strong procurement responses are rarely developed at the last minute—they require time to understand the commissioning context, interpret requirements, gather evidence, engage stakeholders, and develop a compelling response.

This weekly study group has been designed to provide dedicated time and practical support for organisations preparing for upcoming commissioning and procurement opportunities.

From Monday 22 June until the end of August, join us for an informal drop-in session every Monday from 9:30am–10:30am to:

• Set aside protected time to focus on procurement and tender preparation.
• Progress commissioning, funding and procurement responses.
• Work through tender requirements and planning activities.
• Explore approaches to demonstrating outcomes, capability and value.
• Ask questions, share ideas and learn from peers across the sector.
• Connect with others who are also preparing for upcoming opportunities.

As procurement activity ramps up, these sessions offer a valuable opportunity to build momentum, strengthen your organisation’s readiness, and avoid leaving critical planning and writing until deadlines are looming.

The sessions are intentionally practical and flexible. Whether you are actively preparing a response, reviewing your organisation’s commissioning readiness, or simply creating dedicated time to focus on procurement planning, you are welcome to join.

Participants will not be required to discuss or disclose commercially sensitive, confidential or procurement-specific information. The sessions are designed to support learning, problem-solving and focused work in a collaborative environment while respecting organisational confidentiality.

There is no expectation to attend every week—join when it suits your schedule and make use of the dedicated time, peer support and collective expertise available.
